Nahm restaurant (Bangkok)

« Awarded the prestigious World’s 50 Best Restaurants (Top 32) and Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants (Top 3) by UK’s industry publication, Restaurant Magazine, Nahm is a place both for serious gourmets and for those who desire to learn more about authentic local cuisine. »
Really?
Street food is much better!
Apart from appetizers, Thailand’s missing on the six plates we ordered (gourmet menu) and David Thompson cooking proved very fat.
Massaman curry even took me in Morocco… WTF?!
I appreciate Thai food for years, having Thai meals not less than twice a week, I also cook it at home and been taught by international class Thai Chief in Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. I was in real expectation of the experience…
It’s a true disappointment which deserves no further comment, as was the service.

A place I won’t recommend.

Fireworks

Mon plus beau feu d’artifice ?
Celui qui n’était pas prévu, un soir, sur le Chao Phraya à Bangkok.
C’était à la fin du mois de mars, en 2012…
